IS IT A PUPPY MILL?

If they told you to call when you were a few minutes away...

If they met you at a gas station...

If they don't take their puppies back...

If they don't test for Von Willebrands...

If they don't test for Degenerative Myelopathy...

If they don't test for Exercise Induced Exhaustion...

If they breed for money and not love of the breed...

If your corgi is randomly aggressive...

You likely purchased a dog from a backyard breeder or puppy mill.

It's a common question for people to ask, "Corgis need to be rescued? I thought everyone wanted a corgi."

Everyone does. That's why there are so many puppy mills that exist in places like Pennsylvania, Ohio and Missouri where the laws don't protect animals. The Amish are well known for being animal breeders, but most of our highly aggressive corgis, those that are paralyzed from Degenerative Myelopathy, those with the blood borne disorder Von Willebrands? If they come from the Mid-Atlantic area, we always always trace them back to Amish puppy mills and backyard breeders.

We have a post on our Facebook Page describing more about Puppy Mills. Please read it for more information.
